Salary: $100,000 – $130,000 CAD per annum

We need YOU – a smart and entrepreneurial Director of Strategic Solutions, who wants to make a difference in the world – to join our Strategic Solutions Team. 

Duties:  

  • Conducting research, planning, and assisting with our Strategic Solutions product offerings;  
  • Advising and assisting on multi-channel fundraising strategies for the company’s top tier clients;  
  • Conducting assessments of current strategies and consulting on improvements and development of new donor segmentation strategies locally and internationally;  
  • Consulting on development of fundraising propositions, journey mapping, and Affinity Surveys for donors, along with analysis and interpretation of results;  
  • Helping to promote the company’s brand internationally;  
  • Participating and traveling to team and client meetings within Canada and internationally.  
  • Leading workshops and sessions with clients and prospective clients. 
  • Participating in development of proposals for Strategic Solutions and the agency. 
  • Overseeing and supervising the Strategic Solutions team. 

Requirements:  

  • University degree is required 
  • 7-10 years working in fundraising and direct response, or comparable experience with a strong understanding of data and metrics, and a demonstrated ability to apply them to propose improvements and drive program strategy  
  • Solid team player with a strong client service focus 
  • Proven experience developing and delivering workshops, webinars and presentations for the sector 
  • Strong time-management, organization and leadership skills 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Excellent and proactive verbal and written communication skills 
  • Clear editing and strong proofing skills 
  • Progressive senior leadership experience within a non-profit or an agency that services the non-profit sector. 
  • Experience leading a team and projects, motivating and mentoring team members to hit goals and execute work for clients, as well as providing feedback 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and thrive under pressure 
  • Strong computer software ability in MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams and Adobe Acrobat 
  • Positive outlook and works collaboratively, striving to meet agency goals 
  • Not a requirement, but we consider past agency experience working directly with clients
